Syeda Hiba Naqvi

Program Innovation Ambassador

Today’s culture has demanded and generated more activity in dealing with areas of long-standing social issues, than ever before. More synergy is needed between the social, corporate and governmental spheres to efficiently tackle these challenges and deliver impact.

Syeda comes from a business background with work experience in marketing, accounts, and administration but her true passion lies in community development and public service. After pursuing a master’s in public policy from Stony Brook she now looks forward to applying her passion for research and advocacy of critical public domains in the non-profit sector. Prior to Common Impact she has also worked in communications at Citizens Climate Lobby; an environmental non-profit working towards climate change mitigation. She has also assisted at the office of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, where she helped constituents with day-to-day problems and did local organizational outreach.

Syeda is originally from Pakistan and now lives on Long Island where she enjoys the beauty of the island, spending time with her cat and visiting the historical estates on the Gold Coast.
