Program Management

Our program management services support companies and social change organizations in running customizable skills-based programs that range in duration, scalability, and depth. We source and vet nonprofit partners, scope right-sized projects that deliver impact, prepare employee volunteers and nonprofit participants, manage the project or event, and then conduct evaluation and report impact.

  • Team Consulting – A functional or cross-functional group of corporate volunteers focus on a defined nonprofit challenge. Ideal for talent development and upskilling.
    ~2 hours/week, 6 weeks-6 months,
  • Day Of Service – In a half- or full-day format, employee volunteers provide skills-based consulting to one or more nonprofits, either in a “Flash Consulting” model where a team of 5-8 volunteers with shared skillsets are matched to a nonprofit challenge or a “Pitch Competition” format where multiple cross-functional volunteer teams compete to generate the best solution for a nonprofit challenge. Great for large-scale employee engagement.

  • Hotline – The Pro Bono Hotline pairs social impact leaders with skilled volunteers for one hour of advisory support on a sticky organizational challenge.
    1 hour
  • Coaching – A mid- or senior-level corporate employee provides guidance on a specific organizational challenge. This one-on-one model pulls senior leaders out of their comfort zone to apply their deep expertise in a new environment. The nonprofit executive benefits from the functional acumen and external perspective of the coach.
    2 hours/month, 3-6 months
  • Sabbatical – A corporate volunteer provides a nonprofit with full-time, typically on-site support for a period of six weeks to one year. Sabbaticals are a deep investment in an issue area or organization and can be a powerful CSR differentiator for a company as well as a valuable talent and leadership development opportunity for the employee.
