Conor Sutherland is a Partner at Apollo Global Management focused on private equity investments. A native New Yorker presently based in Tokyo, he is responsible for Apollo’s investment activities in Japan. Across more than a decade at Apollo, he has lived in Tokyo, New York and Hong Kong, and has led private equity investments across numerous industries, with a particular focus on metals and heavy industrials.
Conor has served on the boards of Vallourec (ENXTPA:VK), Phoenix Services and Qdoba Restaurants, and he is involved in the Apollo Veterans Affinity Network (AVAN). Prior to joining Apollo in 2012, Conor began his career in investment banking at Moelis & Company. Conor graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. in Economics and a Certificate in Finance.
