Every day, racial equity nonprofits provide vital services and resources to Black Americans and other people of color who are disproportionately affected by police brutality and other forms of race-based violence and discrimination. These organizations work relentlessly to promote civil rights, education, economic opportunity, home ownership, healthcare and more and advocate to end unjust practices like the bail system and lack of transparency in law enforcement.

- Build Baton Rouge is a Black-led initiative to improve the economic outcomes of the Baton Rouge community.
- Custom Collaborative is a Black female-led nonprofit that trains low-income and immigrant women in sustainable garment making to equip them for careers in the fashion industry.
- Greater Chatham Initiative is a Black female-led organization whose mission is to strategically invest in and revitalize the neighborhoods of Chicago’s south side.
- INROADS is a Black-led nonprofit that provides career pathways for underserved youth and youth of color.
- National Urban League is a civil rights organization that supports low-income communities and communities of color across the country.
- North Lawndale Employment Network is a Black female-led nonprofit that provides formerly incarcerated individuals with job opportunities, including employment at the organization’s social enterprise, BeeLove.
- Project Return supports formerly incarcerated individuals in their return to work by providing workforce development and employment opportunities, entrepreneurship training, job retention services and more.
- Resilient Coders teaches underserved youth coding skills to prepare them for careers in technology.
