Sagie Tvizer is a social impact leader passionate about empowering communities to realize their potential for social justice.
Before joining Common Impact, Sagie served as the Program Director of Debate Spaces, an education nonprofit connecting young people around the world through programs designed to equip them with real-world skills while fostering civic engagement. Prior to Debate Spaces, Tvizer was a Community Organizer at the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation, where he mobilized communities to advocate for creating affordable homes and championed economic justice. Tvizer’s experience with volunteering at immigration justice and gun violence prevention organizations testifies to his ability to create alignment between volunteer skills and nonprofit needs.
Sagie attended Brandeis University, where he earned a B.A in History and Politics with a minor in Legal Studies. He is a New Jersey native and currently resides in New York. In his free time, Sagie enjoys cooking, reading, and spending quality time with his cat.
