she/her

Supporting and nourishing our communities can be as simple as stewarding unlikely partnerships and providing those groups with a space to innovate and problem solve. I believe our collective power exists in building coalitions and acts of service.

The guiding star for Consultant Maggie Schneider’s career has been the potential for storytelling to change the world. Stories shape our understanding of ourselves, one another, and the world.

Maggie attended the University of Massachusetts Boston earning a Master’s in Global Inclusion and Social Development with a concentration in Human Rights and Smith College earning a Bachelor of Arts in Africana Studies. Before joining Common Impact, she was the Volunteer Program Manager at Boston-based nonprofit 2Life Communities. She supported a team of volunteers to increase program operations and support the needs of over 1,500 independent older adults. Previously, Maggie organized a winning municipal school committee campaign, conducted investigative research for a true-crime podcast, and produced a documentary series to support advocacy efforts by individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, their families, companions, and champions for the Arc of Massachusetts.

In her free time, Maggie enjoys watching new television shows, learning how to live a more environmentally sustainable life, visiting the local farmers market, and admiring street art.
