Chief Operating Officer

she/her

Our communities thrive when we recognize and nurture the connections that exist within them. Our work at Common Impact allows us to work in service of fostering those critical connections.

Ola describes equity as her professional north star. Driven by a passion for creating equitable spaces and opportunities for marginalized people, specifically Black and brown communities, Ola has dedicated much of her career to operational excellence in support of those communities. In her role as Chief Operating Officer, Ola leads technology, finance, talent and operations functions in service of Common Impact’s mission of creating stronger communities and a connected economy.

Prior to joining the Common Impact team, Ola led the operations, finance and development functions at Black Girls CODE (BGC) raising over $20 million dollars and developing pivotal systems and processes to support the organization’s goal of increasing equity for Black girls in STEM spaces. Prior to BGC, Ola spent over a decade creating and implementing operational excellence in charter schools across New York City.

Ola earned her MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and her Bachelors from American University. She is a proud Nigerian immigrant with roots in many communities across the United States. She is Brooklyn resident who lives for travel and weekends exploring NYC parks with her family.
