Anne Ames is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Fidelity Enterprise Technology and Global Services, a division of Fidelity Investments, a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services to more than 32 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries.
Anne joined Fidelity in 2006 and spent seven years in Talent Acquisition, assuming leadership of Fidelity’s firm-wide talent acquisition in 2009. She was named head of Human Resources for Workplace Solutions in 2013, leading the HR, Leadership and Learning, and Site Strategy and Planning groups, while also contributing to enterprise-wide HR initiatives and strategies. In 2018, Anne assumed leadership of Strategy and Planning for Workplace Investing where she was responsible for leading the Data Governance, Business and Resource Planning, Supplier Management and Agile Readiness groups. In 2019, she also served as President of Fidelity Management Trust Company. Anne assumed leadership of Human Resources for Fidelity Enterprise Technology and Global Services in 2019 and in 2020 her role was expanded to include leadership for Diversity and Inclusion.
Anne has deep human resources and business experience in the Financial Services industry having worked for Bank of America and its predecessor banks. During this tenure she held leadership roles in the areas of Human Resources, Retail Banking and Regulatory and Board Governance. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Assumption College and serves on the Board of Directors for Mount Alvernia High School.
