What We Do

Nonprofit Services

How can I amplify my organization's impact?

Leverage pro bono expertise from the world’s most successful companies to deliver your services more efficiently, generate greater awareness of your organization, and raise money more effectively. Corporate associates implement specific projects that build on and maximize your staff’s talent, energy, and commitment.

Common Impact’s nonprofit services are focused in our six practice areas: technology, marketing, HR, financial management, operations and strategy / business planning.  We help your organization plan for a successful skills-based project, source a team of corporate professionals to execute that project, and help you measure and sustain the result.  The partnerships that Common Impact creates between your organization and our corporate partners often spark ongoing collaborations that benefit both nonprofits and companies alike.

Project Planning

We assess your needs across our practice areas to identify an impactful project that aligns with the expertise of corporate employees.  We’ll then build a phased plan for your organization that will allow that pro bono project to amplify your impact.

Project Execution

We help your organization implement tangible solutions identified in your plan by matching your organization with a team of employees from one of our corporate partners.

We evaluate the project’s success in meeting the goals defined at the beginning of the engagement.  In addition, we use a proprietary SROI model to benchmark the net new resources our nonprofit clients generate from the projects implemented by our corporate teams.

Tool Development

In our efforts to increase access to skills-based service, we develop tools to support nonprofit organizations navigation of these resources, such as our Readiness Assessment and Project Evaluation tools.
