Episode 39: Celebrating a Year of Social Impact Conversations

Hosted by Common Impact CEO Danielle Holly, the Pro Bono Perspectives podcast spotlights social change leaders from across the private, public, and social sectors. We launched the show in the Fall of 2018 as a space for impact-minded professionals to exchange ideas and find inspiration.

We cover a variety of topics at the intersection of work and purpose – not just skills-based volunteering and pro bono, but also nonprofit management, CSR, philanthropy, cross-sector collaboration, DEI, social justice, the digital divide, and disaster resiliency and crisis response.

Our past guests include CEOs, Executive Directors, and other top executives from Salesforce, Google, Facebook, Fidelity Investments, PwC, TOMS, Marriott International, Robin Hood Foundation, VolunteerMatch, New York Cares, Idealist, The Trevor Project, United Way, and the International Medical Corps. What to Expect

We’ll start by setting up a short call to learn more about you and ensure a good fit. Then, we’ll schedule a one-hour virtual interview, which typically translates to a 30-40 minute episode, and a short same-day sound check. We’ll send a list of sample questions or topics beforehand so you know what to expect. We want these to be true conversations between you and host Danielle Holly, so we welcome your input on trends or questions you’d like to discuss.

What You Can Do

The best way to make the most of your appearance is to share it! We ask that guests post their episodes on social media, their website, newsletter, and anywhere else they connect with their supporters so more people can be inspired by these stories of social impact. Not sure what to say? When your episode goes live, we’ll send you links to the summary and Common Impact’s social media posts, plus graphics and soundbites you can use in your promotion.
