Susanne Salerno
Susanne is a social impact leader known for using her passion and drive to transform world-renown organizations like GBH and Fidelity Investments. By connecting people and purpose, Susanne builds partnerships for philanthropic and corporate citizenship initiatives. Susanne has focused her career advising stakeholders on strategic philanthropy, employee engagement initiatives, organizational development, board governance, and media relations for organizations including IDEXX, Mars Wrigley, Common Impact, New England Conservatory, and CDP. Prior to founding SE Salerno Consulting, Susanne spent over ten years at GBH, the leading national producer of PBS and NPR programs, advising the Board and executive management on fundraising strategy and governance. She was also Head of Foundation and Philanthropic Services at wealth management firm, Silver Bridge, where she guided family clients with $500M+ in assets; and as Director of Relationship Management for Fidelity Charitable. Susanne continues her vision for a better future by serving as a strategic advisor to Common Impact, and volunteering for Boston PAL, the PR Club of New England and Junior Achievement. Susanne also regularly serves as a volunteer for the CEO-led coalition on corporate purpose strategy, CECP. Susanne holds a MA in Public Policy from Tufts University and a BS in Business Administration from Villanova University, and the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation. She currently resides just west of Boston and can be found testing recipes, cheering on her alma mater Villanova Wildcats, and exploring the beaches along the New England coast.
