25 in 2025!

It is a true honor to announce that Common Impact is marking its 25th anniversary this year. I am incredibly proud to serve alongside this dedicated team as we align business with social purpose. 

I love this work! From the time we spend listening to corporate leaders share about the good they are seeking to achieve to the matches we make for them with nonprofit partners. When we bring corporate employees together with nonprofit teams and get them focused on using their skills—collaboratively—toward a specific goal, that’s when the magic happens. 

I love the passion we see in every project we are honored to lead—from the employee volunteers, the nonprofit staff members, and our own team. Witnessing this deep commitment to making a difference always reminds me of how service brings us together. The drive to volunteer and help is human and part of the fabric of our communities. Many of us are already engaged in this movement of service and volunteerism by helping our neighbors, engaging in our kids’ education, and getting involved in organizations that matter to each of us as people. This work matters, and at Common Impact, we are committed to doing our part—helping companies and their people take volunteerism to a new level, doing transformative work by bringing their skills to the table on behalf of nonprofit partners. 

I see our work as building bridges. This year, we recognize 25 years of impact generated by connecting nonprofits with corporate expertise and increasing their capacity through the great work done by corporate employees. It makes me smile because it’s a true team effort: our staff building the bridges, corporate partners committing their time, resources, and talented employees, and nonprofits bringing their deep community expertise to the table. It’s these cross-sector collaborations that create a ripple effect of lasting impact.
