In her role as a Director of Programs, Tessa helps businesses and nonprofits creating meaningful change through skills-based volunteering. As part of this work, she guides nonprofits, company leaders, and volunteers through every step of the process.
Tessa believes knowledge is a powerful agent for change and strives to create opportunities for learning by connecting skilled volunteers with nonprofit leaders. Tessa brings over ten years of experience in the social impact sector. A proud jack of all trades, she has diverse experiences in fundraising, program management, teaching, and coaching at City Harvest, the NYC Department of Small Business Services, and the JET Programme in Japan. Core to Tessa’s work is her desire to help individuals and organizations grow their capacity for success.
Tessa lives in Philadelphia and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Geography & Urban Studies from Temple University. She is a learner, traveler, and creative, who enjoys bringing people together over food. Her kryptonite is a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream.
