Senior Associate Consultant

she/her

Skills-based volunteering is an opportunity for corporate employees to use their skills in a meaningful way that reaches communities beyond the immediate reach of their services, while providing nonprofits with resources that would otherwise be hard to access. In facilitating these collaborations, unlikely partnerships are made to help tackle large-scale and systemic issues that affect so many marginalized communities.

As a Senior Associate Consultant, Maria helps build partnerships and skills-based volunteering opportunities to strengthen the alliance between the corporate and nonprofit sectors to create meaningful social impact.

Prior to Common Impact, Maria was a fellow at 17 Asset Management on the Sustainable Investing and Stakeholder Engagement teams working to bridge the gap between the financial services and social sectors under the guidance of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Maria is a recent graduate from Fordham University with a degree in International Political Economy on the Global Business Track with a minor in Sustainable Business. Throughout her time at Fordham, Maria held internships at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, Cabrini Immigrant Services, and the Council on Foreign Relations. In her down time, you are likely to find Maria reading, laughing, and/or listening to music with her friends.
