In his role as Consultant, Dikshant helps Common Impact’s corporate clients engage their employees with opportunities to create meaningful social change. He designs and implements engagements that utilize employees’ skills where they are needed most in the nonprofit sector.
Dikshant hails from the great city of Baltimore where he worked as a program coordinator at the Homeless Persons Representation Project (HPRP). At HPRP, he helped launch the Homeless Youth Legal Network, a pro bono program providing free civil-legal assistance to local youth and young adults. Dikshant also collaborated with community partners in Maryland to implement a grassroots advocacy campaign for the Ending Youth Homelessness Act of 2018. In addition to HPRP, Dikshant worked for various nonprofits including the Baltimore Urban Debate League, Impact Hub Baltimore and the Center for Social Concern at Johns Hopkins University.
Dikshant received his B.A. in Sociology and Social Policy from Johns Hopkins University where he was a Baltimore Scholar and a student leader at the Office of Multicultural Affairs. On weekends, Dikshant can be found playing tennis, listening to podcasts Still Processing and FiveThirtyEight in Prospect Park or watching shows like Killing Eve, Big Little Lies, The Americans and Insecure.
