Ashley Carter is a former TV news broadcast journalist who has taken her inquisitive and personable spirit in the world of business and social responsibility.
Ashley earned her undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Sociology from the University of Georgia before moving to South Carolina to begin her work in the newsroom. She later joined Blackbaud, the world’s leading cloud software company powering social good, as a Software Instructor. She trained thousands of nonprofit leaders worldwide on complex technology to make their everyday work processes manageable. Most of her days were spent on camera as she instructed clients and kept them engaged for hours.
Ashley is now earning her MBA from the University of Georgia- Terry College of Business. She is thankful to have landed a role at Common Impact that marries the world of business with the nonprofit sector to help to solve some of their biggest problems through skills-based volunteering initiatives.
