Amy Yang

Consultant

she/her

There is great power and potential in the word ‘with’ and I’m convinced that change occurs by dancing with the system.

As Senior Associate Consultant, Amy creates exciting synergies between corporations and nonprofits through skills-based volunteering opportunities.

Amy earned her Master’s in International Education Development from the University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Western Washington University. She previously interned at the Aga Khan Foundation’s Tajikistan office, where she assisted in the development of country-wide teacher training curricula, as well as worked at a campus cultural center where she supported student programming for equitable access to resources. Amy is TESOL certified and has taught English in Mexico, Taiwan, and South Korea, where she worked as a District Coordinator and teacher in a rural town near the demilitarized zone.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys going on long walks, eating chocolate cake, and fantasizing about her next trip.
