Who we are

Christina Harris

Associate Consultant

Christina Harris, Associate Consultant

Christina joins the Common Impact team as an Associate Consultant. In this role, she serves the organization’s mission of building a new, connected economy by facilitating relationships between nonprofits and corporations through skills-based volunteerism.

Previously, Christina served in AmeriCorps VISTA at United South End Settlements, a Boston nonprofit, where she managed a volunteer-based program that worked with participants to build their financial capabilities. Christina learned about the value of skilled-based volunteerism through the organization's work with external consultants, particularly the Fidelity volunteers placed by Common Impact, which led to her discovery of and interest in Common Impact.

Prior to AmeriCorps, Christina was awarded the Global Social Benefit Fellowship through the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship. She worked on a consulting project for All Across Africa, a Rwanda-based B-Corp that accelerates artisan integration into the global economy by facilitating access to foreign markets. Upon finishing the fellowship, Christina continued to work for the Miller Center, a social enterprise incubator, gathering organizational updates, feedback and recommendations from executive leaders who had previously participated in the Center's boost consulting programs.

Christina attended Santa Clara University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Environmental Studies. During her free time, you can find Christina re-watching Friends episodes, booking a reservation at yet another Italian restaurant and getting lost in the city.
