Susanne Salerno is a strategic philanthropy and community investment director with more than 20 years’ experience advising leaders on social impact and building cross-sector partnerships across the financial services, education and nonprofit sectors.
For the past four years, she has consulted on stakeholder engagement, board governance, diversity and inclusion, and impact investing through consulting roles at New England Conservatory, Giving Strong, and The Partnership. Most recently Susanne served as Senior Director of Operations & Planning at leading national producer of PBS and NPR programs, WGBH in Boston. She volunteers as Ambassador for two events hosted by the CEO-led coalition on corporate purpose, CECP, and helped facilitate a strategic partnership between Life is Good and Junior Achievement.
Susanne holds a Master in Public Policy from Tufts University and a BS in Business Administration from Villanova University, and serves on the Life is Good Kids Foundation Fundraising Advisory Committee, and the Villanova University Alumni New England Chapter. She has also volunteered as a Year Up mentor.
