Anne Punzak Marcus resides in Brookline with her husband, Paul, and their two sons, Robbie and Christopher. From 1984 until 2002, Anne worked for Fidelity Investments; where her positions included portfolio manager of several municipal bond funds and Research Director for the Fixed Income Division. She obtained a BS from Boston College School of Management and an MBA from the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. Anne is an active volunteer with several not-for-profit organizations. She currently is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Park School and also serves on the Advocacy and Government Relations Committee of the Autism Consortium, a disease-based collaboration involving 14 Boston-area institutions, to advance understanding and treatment of developmental brain disorders. Anne is also a member of Dana Farber's Women Cancers' Visiting Committee and is a former member and past board chair of the Board of Directors of Families First, a not-for-profit dedicated to providing parenting education and support. Anne's oldest son Robbie was born with cerebral palsy, and with her husband Paul, founded the Children's Hospital Developmental Medicine Center Philanthropic Leadership Council. In addition, she is a former Overseer of Children's Hospital and is involved with many local organizations which benefit children with disabilities. Anne is actively involved in a project to advance mental health support for adolescents in urban schools. She is also spearheading a research project to develop new approaches for teaching social pragmatic skills to children with special needs, by utilizing some of the recent scientific advances on how the brain learns.
