Valerie DiCristoforo serves as an Associate Consultant at Common Impact. Valerie works as an intermediary between non-profits and corporations to solve non-profit’s business challenges through skills-based volunteering. Since joining the Common Impact team, she has enjoyed playing an active role in the development of mutually beneficial working relationships aimed at social change.
Valerie comes to Common Impact after working as a Financial Services Asset Management Assurance staff at Ernst & Young. While at Ernst & Young, Valerie was involved in multiple volunteer initiatives and witnessed first-hand the capability that a company can have in encouraging its employees to better their community. Working at Ernst & Young further strengthened her belief that it is the duty of companies to use their resources to support and give back through volunteer work. Ernst & Young exposed Valerie to the challenges businesses face and gave her a deeper understanding of how to maximize the potential of a company while also benefiting the community in which it operates. Valerie is excited to bring together her volunteer experience with her understanding of the for-profit world to leverage each organization’s strengths for a common benefit.
Valerie graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a B.S. in Business Administration, a concentration in Accounting and minor in Psychology.
