Season seeks to connect individuals and networks with purpose-driven ideas and resources so that our communities are vibrant and engaged. Before joining Common Impact, she worked for Reimagining Service and coached graduate students to produce high-quality case studies and research on cross-sector partnerships and innovative volunteer roles. Beyond this position, Season was immersed in the field of service learning for ten years in the California State University system working to achieve best practices and academic policies that showcase the value of this community-based teaching tool. She has also consulted on various projects that support charter school education and leadership development at the Presidio Institute.
Season received her bachelor’s degree in nutrition at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and her master’s degree in public administration from California State University, Long Beach. Season lives near Sacramento, California with her husband and their two daughters. In her spare time, she can be found at the local yoga studio or in her kitchen cooking up a flavorful meal.
