Marielle Walter has nearly a decade of experience in both the nonprofit and private sectors, where she has driven research, operations, communications and program management initiatives. Throughout her diverse career, Marielle has focused on streamlining operations practices, energizing communications platforms, and providing analytical insights to drive social impact initiatives in the areas of climate policy, human rights, poverty alleviation, environmental conservation, and agricultural development. Her passion is to support cause-based businesses and organizations in becoming more efficient and effective.

Marielle previously worked as a consultant at the World Bank, supporting and streamlining the operations, communications and technology initiatives of a large international research team. Before joining the World Bank, Marielle worked with several nonprofit organizations in Washington, DC. As a Program Manager for TechnoServe, Marielle managed a skills-based volunteerism program aimed at engaging pro bono business consultants globally in the fight against poverty. At The Center for Clean Air Policy, she supported research initiatives for low carbon development in Latin America and coordinated the organization's strategic communications work. Earlier in her career, she supported research, communications, and community organizing initiatives for The Humane Society of the United States and the Sierra Club.

Marielle holds a Masters in Environmental Policy from Virginia Commonwealth University and remains committed to education by serving on the board of Sound Child Care Solutions, an innovative nonprofit education consortium dedicated to integrating and advancing early childhood education.
