Jackie strongly believes in the power of cross-sector partnerships to create meaningful social change. At Common Impact, Jackie works to build these mutually beneficial partnerships to break down barriers between the for-profit and non-profit sectors and amplify social impact.
With two business degrees, including an MBA specifically focused on social impact management, and three years of service with AmeriCorps*VISTA; Jackie brings a unique perspective of how to use business skills to bridge sectors and build the capacity of non-profit organizations. As an AmeriCorps*VISTA with Massachusetts Campus Compact, Jackie built reciprocal campus-community partnerships that leveraged higher education resources into non-profit organizations.
These three years of service led her to pursue an MBA to study how other sectors can work together to advance social change. Specifically, Jackie explored the intersection of the non-profit and for-profit sectors by consulting for Reebok’s main social purpose platform, BOKS (Build Our Kids’ Success), on a strategic growth strategy. She holds an MBA from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and a BA in Business Administration from Boston University.
